Sandra was born in the Niagara Peninsula, Canada, and has lived and trained in the U.K., Western Canada, Melbourne and Toronto. She initially studied writing and journalism at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, and City University London, England, and over the past 20 years has diverted her creative talent to visual arts. She has spent several years learning classical drawing and oil painting with renowned artists including the late Kevin Taylor at Brighton Arts Society in Melbourne, Australia and Juan Martinez at the Academy of Realist Art in Toronto. Her favorite part of being an artist is volunteering in the arts; as a docent for the Art Gallery of Ontario, co-founder of North Toronto Group of Artists and launching many community and school-based arts projects. She occasionally teaches art in Loudoun County and offers workshops in Italy. Sandra currently devides her time between living in the US and Canada. Sandra's original and published works are sold internationally.
